‘The One’ Wedding Showcase by Customs House on Thursday 29th January 2026

A Setting Like No Other

From the moment you arrive, Customs House captivates with its impressive Corinthian columns, cathedral-style ceilings and stately façade. Our heritage-listed building is steeped in history, yet perfectly appointed for modern weddings. With a prestigious riverside location and uninterrupted views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge, the venue offers a backdrop that is as photogenic as it is memorable.

Your Day, Your Love Story

Every couple’s vision is different, which is why we offer the flexibility to design a celebration that reflects your personal style. Whether you dream of an intimate elopement, a small-scale ceremony, an opulent reception, or a multi-day event, our team will help bring your aspirations to life.

From cultural and religious ceremonies to contemporary formats, every tradition is respected and supported. You are welcome to work with your preferred stylist or collaborate with our trusted partnered professionals to ensure every detail is perfectly considered.

At Customs House, every wedding is guided by a dedicated Event Coordinator who works with you from confirmation through to the day itself. Your coordinator liaises with you throughout the lead-up and meets with you approximately six weeks before your wedding to finalise all of the arrangements. On the day, one of our Banquet Supervisors will ensure your reception is executed exactly as planned.

Couples have the flexibility to personalise nearly every aspect of their celebration. While packages may include flowers, chairs, Customs House’ vendor recommendations, and other elements, outside vendors are also welcome, subject to approval at least 28 days prior to the wedding. All contractors must comply with Customs House’s regulations and carry appropriate public liability insurance, ensuring a seamless and safe experience.

Wedding cakes can be provided by recommended suppliers, or couples may choose their own, so long as the supplier is a professional cake maker or baker with a BCC food business licence. The chef and kitchen staff can assist with cutting, plating, and serving according to your preference. Every detail will be customised to your vision, ensuring a celebration that reflects your story, style, and taste.

A Warm Welcome for All

Customs House proudly celebrates love in all its forms. We are LGBTQIA+ inclusive, culturally respectful, and supportive of all traditions and personal preferences. Our team works with thoughtfulness and flexibility to ensure every couple feels represented and valued.
