The Long Room
Larger cocktail events will be comfortably serviced in the Long Room; our most spacious event venue, characterised by an awe-inspired copper dome and grand columns looming over the spacious and versatile venue. The room’s cruciform shape lends itself to easy mingling, with flexible layout potential to accommodate your specific requirements.

With heritage detailing and an atmosphere of distinction and grandeur, the Long Room acts as a magnificent backdrop for memorable evenings.
The River Room
Located at the river level, the aptly-named River Room seamlessly blends sophistication and contemporary style. Guests in attendance will also have direct access to the River Room Terrace, where they can enjoy fresh air and take in the views of Brisbane’s Story Bridge. The River Room features built-in audiovisual equipment throughout the space, perfect for easy integration throughout your event.

Charitable Trusts Room & The Reid Room
From the balcony’s original 1800s iron lacework to the dazzling crystal chandelier, the Charitable Trusts Room exudes refined elegance. Select artworks from the University Art Museum adorn the walls here, welcoming cocktail guests to enjoy an evening of comfort and conversation in the charming venue space.
Adjoining this area is the Reid Room, which our team will utilise to set with your beverages. Brandishing sweeping views of the Brisbane River, this intimate venue presents the ideal setting for hosts to welcome and entertain guests and cocktail party attendees.

Treat your guests to a curated culinary experience, with a cocktail menu designed to complement your event style and tastes. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, our catering team ensures each dish they prepare reflects the high quality service Customs House is renowned for.
We work closely with you to tailor a menu around your desired tastes, incorporating locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. All dietary requirements are accommodated with the same attention to detail and presentation as our standard offerings.
