At the turn of the century, electric light was installed, and this room has the only remaining brass light fitting from that time.
With an elegant silky oak drop-leaf table, it's ideal for banquets of up to 10 people and cabaret style of up to 8 people.
The Reid Room adjoins the Charitable Trusts room and balcony.
The Reid Dining Room was named in acknowledgement of the gift by John T Reid Australian Charitable Trust towards the restoration of Customs House. This room features selected works from the UQ Art Museum.
